Winter Faire is around the corner! This year’s Faire is Saturday, December 9th, and we are planning one of the most magical Winter Faires ever!
At Westside Waldorf School, very special care is taken by everyone to celebrate our children. One way we do that is through our festivals, which provide a beautiful opportunity for us to come together as a community for our children and our school. Winter Faire is a magical, special gift to our children from the parents and the school, where all of our families can gather, play, make crafts, eat and be merry! It is also the first Faire held at our lovely new Sunset Campus where all proceeds will go directly towards the beautiful new Sunset Campus Playground!
This year’s amazing Winter Faire will feature two Winter Enchantment Rooms, a Snow Fairy Market, The Pixie Pleasures Gift Shop, The Tomten Tavern, Gnomish Nibbles Bakery, The Fairy Feast Food Court, The Snow Queen’s Tea House and several fantastic craft rooms, where you and your children can experience candle-dipping and decorate gingerbread cookies, among other things! There will be delicious food and entertainment, plus a live auction of amazing Holiday Gift Baskets! We are looking forward to an especially magical celebration this year, and we need everyone’s help to make that possible!
For those who are interested, Westside Waldorf will also be sponsoring an outreach philanthropy program to begin embracing fundraising in our extended community. We will have a donation basket set up at the entrance to Winter Faire to support Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, a very special place where children have been cared for and cured for more than 100 years, and no child is turned away for any reason, be it financial or other. If you wish to participate, please bring a small, unwrapped toy to be donated to the hospital on the day of the Faire.
