Items needed for Snow Queen's Tea Garden

Dear Lily Parents or anyone who wants to help!

While you are out shopping for Halloween costumes, perhaps you might be able to purchase and donate something from the following list. They are available at Party Stores, Halloween Costume shops, Michaels, etc, now that it is Halloween season. Unfortunately, they will be hard to find once Halloween is over (which is why I'm asking about it now) -- so if you can spare some extra $$ and are in one of those stores......we need:

White Feather Wings....(usually sold as angel wings)
Adult size
Child size

White Feather Boas
Preferably long

The child size wings will be avaiable for the chidren to dress-up in at the Snow Queen's Tea Garden, the adult wings would be for the "attendants" to wear, and the white feather boas are also for costuming and decor.

Or, if you happen to have any of these things already and would be willing to loan them for the Winter Faire, please let me know.

Here's a much longer list of non-Halloween items we also would like for the room:
Dontations needed:

White Sheets/Fabric
Winter-type fabric/accessories (ie: sparkling blue, silver)
White Wool Felt (to make crowns)
Frosted (fake) "Christmas" Trees (no ornaments, unless snowflake-ish/crystals)
Fake pine "Christmas" Trees
Any kind of tree/plant material that would work well in a "wintergarden" ie: Birch branches/logs
Winter Decor -- ideas welcome
Crystals, snowflake decor, icicle decor
Snow-Globes
Sleds (old fashioned looking, possibly for decor)
Sleigh (for the snow queen, if you've got a cool one, or access to a prop, or can build one)

Sponsor needed for Harpist or Flute to provide dreamy mood music.

Please email Julie Engrstrom if you can help.

Volunteer Committees

All in all, the more volunteer help we receive from parents, the better the Faire will be. Anyone wishing more information about volunteering for the overall Winter Faire administration can contact Tifanie Chaney at 310-451-5429 or noddyboom@aol.com.

Our hope is for every family to participate in Winter Faire. It is a beautiful opportunity for us to come together as a community and create something special for our children and our school. Below you will find a description of the many committees you can chair, co-chair or join. Everyone is vital in creating Winter Faire and your children love to see you participate.
